  1. hi... umm

would like to know how to delete certain vobsets... canīt see anything in the guides nor in this forum,,,,

if like there is a dvd disc which has a trailer on the VTS_04_01.vob , 40MB then I really have no need for it.. and not only that.. it plays right before the menu.

so how do I remove this from ifo edit.. ?

  2. While you are in IFOEdit open that VTS and see if there is a VOB ID to a .15 seconds clip nad only choose that one and you will end up with a VOB file that is around 20 KB. Another way is to change the pre command in that VTS.

  3. the times I see are....
    6.1 - 3.09 - 3.14 - 57.11 and 1.00 secs
the 57 is the trailer and if I remove this only... and even everything but the 1 sec then it will freeze just before the menu would come up.
should I do anything with the video_ts files also?.. or just copy the stripped vob set to the main files?

  4. If is was home I could pull up IFOEdit and show you exactly where to go but I'm not. I don't want you to feel I dropped this though so I'll try. Try this in your newly processed VTS with only the 1 second clip in it. Open it back up. In the top box in IFOEdit you should find a line ( 3rd or 4th line ) that has the two or more PGC's in it ( looks like you have more than one from the clip times you posted ). .When you click on it it should drop down showing your PGC's. Click on the first PGC then go to the bottom box and scroll down and look for the Pre Commands and in the first line left click and choose edit command and pick something like JUMP TO VTS MENU and after you pick that there should be three boxes under it. Choose 1,1 and root. Save to your IFO but not your BUP so that if anything goes wrong you can put it back to the way it was. Now try the movie and see if it gets past the freeze. Other than that I would have to be doing it myself.
    I tried.
