    can someone explain to me how can i compress a video file. i have joined 3avi's and i want to burn it to vcd but i want to compress the video so i can fit more that one clip on a vcd. post or email me @ winstone101@hotmail.com

    check the How To Convert section for information - you need to convert the .avi to mpeg-1 for VCDs.

    the Convert info will also contain info on the tools you need, most of which can be found in the Tools section.

    TMPGenc is good, relatively easy to use, and if you are doing mpeg-1, it's freeware.

    Check the guides

    May need to extract audio first in virutaldub
    If it's wet, drink it
