    Hi! Has anyone tried to make backup copies of these. Ive tried both smartripper and dvddecrytpor. They both stop at the same spot 49% for LOTR, and 79% for Pootie Tang. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Feel free to email me at jake8027@hotmail.com as well! Thanks guys!

    could be a damaged disc cause i've successfully ripped and backed up LOTR's. I'm having the same problem with band of brothers but the disc appears to be scratched.

    Managed to back up LOTR fine, I would check your disc.

    Ok guys! Please help me with this. Like how did u do it? What programs did u use? Ive now tried 3 copies of each movie and it hasnt worked at all and they stop at all the same places!

    Same here... I was successful with LOTR

    DVD Decrypter - rip
    IfoEdit - split
    Nero - burn

    All based on guide in doom9.org ....
    Pinnacle Studio 8 and DV home video editing (ver.9 already home)

    Not realy. I left them as they were when I installed DVD Decrypter. I always use "File Mode" and I rip all files. I play with them later (which one to keep or not).
