  1. Ok here it is. Simple question.

Last night i used dvd2one on the movie Friday After Next.

When getting to the part about choosing the number of chapters.
There was two of them that had the same length but one had like lets say 15 chapters and the other around 30. (something like that)

So what was the difference in these two? I chose the one with the smaller number of chapters being they were both same length even to the second it confused me.

Movie did play just fine, just wonder what i am missing here?

the other odd part was that total size of files when done was only around 3.5gb shrinking it from around 7. thats odd cause any other time i used dvd2one it put it right at making a full disk.

Thanks Well better get back to work

  2. It is probably that the disk had two versions of the movie on it. A Full Screen version and WideScreen version. The movie it self could probably fit on 1 disk without compression. Especially after removing unwanted subtiltes and audio tracks.

If you look at the VOB files that you ripped, do you see two sets of large VOB's? If so, then it is two versions of the movie. Also how big is each set? If each set is only around 4 or 5GB, then one version of the movie could fit on a DVD-R without compression. And the reason that it would be smaller than 4.7 after running through DVD2ONE would be because you removed extra audio which made it smaller.
