I thought to post this but it didn't show up. I hopw someone can tell me what did I do wrong. i have been ripping DVD using the following steps successfully for quite some time :

Smart Ripper
DVD2AVI to create D2V file and Wave file
VFAPI to create pseudo file
Load the pseudo file to Vdub
Using Vobsub to create subtitle file
Use the filter in Vdub to add the subtitle to the pseudo
Start frame server to TMPG

It worked when I was using Window 98

Now I have change my machine to Window2000 and reinstall everything, I went through all the steps but TMPG now tells me that the file (vdr file) is either cannot opened or unsupported.
