I've commpressed several movies with DVD Shrink and compared the same movie done with DVD95COPY and DVD2ONE. The DVD Shrink copy is always blurred and grainy,I need no A/B comparison to tell which is the DVD Shrink version. It's free and gets a lot "praise" in these forums but a grainy/fuzzy picture isn't worth free.

And a grainy picture isn't worth paying for either.
You can use DVD Shrink to strip out the crap and and cutout the credits without any quality loss. You will only get quality loss if you reencode. Then you should consider a high quality encoder over DVDshrink, DVD2one, or IC.
