I love this program, since i can make 1 tv episode 650megs. Well, thats great and all, accept i cannot burn to a normal cd.

Is it possible for the creators of DVd2One to add a resize thing?
And maybe a "choose output method" thing?

That way we can maybe get some really good svcd's, with subs.

Suggestions for "improvements" to DVD2one should be posted in the forums at www.dvd2one.com.

You're never going to see that suggestion make into DVD2one, as it is not for making anything but DVDs.

  3. Dude, the name of the program is DVD2one, not DVD2svcd/vcd/divx/asf/blah...

DVD-Rs are the next SVCDs, there is really no point in making an SVCD if you have a DVDR drive. I mean, SVCDs are good for now, but one year from now they will be a dying breed.

I'm in the process of converting all my SVCDs (all the new ones at least) to DVD because I save my CDRs for single disc SVCDs and SCREENER VCDs.

q i think you are also misunderstanding the process of DVD2one.. its not doing any type of re-encoding. you cant just stream video drop frames and do whatever else it does AND change the aspect ratio/size at the same time... changing the size is one thing you DEFINITELY can't do without re-encoding. the video you are getting is still dvd format and cannot make it onto an svcd w/o being re-encoded.... if you are using dvd2one to make things small enough to fit on CD-r you REALLY are stepping outside of the bounds of what the program is meant for
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine
drawn outside the lines of reason.
Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind.
