(S)VCD2DVDMPG and tv episodes on vcd

I used (S)VCD2DVDMPG to convert the vcd to an audio and videostream. which works great btw. But the problem came when i tried to watch the dvd i burned with nero and authored with maestro. There is a lot of bluring and blocks at the bottom of the video which isn't there on the vcd.

Anyone else tried to burn of tv episodes and didn't have this problem?

I had other issues with TV eps (sync mainly). Mostly because the mpegs had been edited for adverts etc. However, I can't help unless I see the mpeg.

First use some splitting tool such as hjsplit to cut a small chunk for example 3-4 MB from the file, try it so see if it has the same problem then upload it somewhere for me to download. If you have no where then I'll PM you a email address.
