    is there any way/software to extract vob files from a dvd so that they are divided into logical episodes (if a episode dvd) or into full divisions (if a movie dvd) so that the movie is one vob, the bonus parts are seperate vobs, etc...?
    when i use decrypter and set it to file mode it seperates the vobs into one gig sections each of which end right in the middle of a episode or movie.
    is this possible?

    DVD Decrypter --> IFO mode, turn off file splitting --> single VOB per episode.

    VOBs are 1048 MB and have nothing to do with "episodes".

    There is a small program called Sparkie's TV Ripper that uses DVD Decrypter and can set up rips for you as. Smartripper is a really old program but can work wonders as well
