  1. I have PVR that I have found software for so that I can extract the shows that are stored on the hard drive. I have to use my PC to extract the files off the drive, I end up with .m2v for the video and .mp2 or .ac3 for the audio depending on the channel. I am using ffmpeg to join the audio and the video but when I have .mp2 and the .m2v files to join I get video that is out of sync, and when I join .ac3 and .m2v files I get no audio. I would like to also edit the end product so I can cut out commercials and other things, but I would also like to end up with a finished file that will play in windows media player or in quick time with out any codec?s being used for play back. I am using my eMac 800Mhz, with 768mb of ram. I have a super drive so I would like to be able to put these files on to a DVD or a SVCD. I have been searching for anything I can find to help me do this on the mac. I love my mac and don?t ever want to turn on my pc if I don?t have to , so if some one can point me in the right direction, post a how to, or even recommend some software the could help me out I would be grateful, this has been a week project so far and am only asking for help now because I have hit a brick wall and have tried everything that I can think of. Thanks for your help !!

You could use DVD SP. It will join m2v and ac3 into one file. The file will be in a vob file. The audio will not go out of sync.

E-mail me at fcutpro808@aol.com if you have any questions.
