    When I open a avi file with DivX Player 2.1, I got the message :

    "the file includes audio that is not recognized by the DivX Player.
    The file contains the following type of data
    audio data: Tag8192"

    How can I fix it, Please.

    i think you can fix it with VIRTUALDUB
    Open the file with virtualdub
    AUDIO -> FULL PROCESSING MODE
    AUDIO -> COMPRESSION -> NONE(PCM)
    AUDIO -> CONVERSION 44100hz
    VIDEO -> DIRECT STREAM COPY
    FILE -> SAVE AVI
    let is save and try to play this file, if this file won't play, your original divx file is screwed, sorry

    Thanks El Torro, I follow your steps but I got the message

    "No audio decompressor could be found to decompress the source audio format"

    But still say "Thanks you" once more.
