I've been trying to find out for certain if this is possible, I've heard it is but I want to make sure.
My Xbox is unmodded and will remain so for as long as I can see (unless I can get hold of a second machine cheaply, in which case Linux & Xbox mediaplayer here I come ^_^), but I'd like to be able to watch home-burnt CDs on it. Until I get myself a DVDwriter, my only option is, of course, CD. I rknow the Xbox doesn't support (S)VCD, but I've heard CVD is compatible (seeing as the video res is valid for DVD, too).
Questions i have are:
1) Does the (unmodded) Xbox play these?
2) Is there a 'trick' to burning CVDs? Or can I pop the files into Nero & burn away?
3) Is there anywhere I can download a small sample image to burn and test on my machine? This site used to have one available, but it only seems to offer SVCD samples for download now
Once I know the answers to these questions for certain, I can go about re-encoding some of the SVCDs & Divx files I have so I can watch them on the big screen ^_^
Thanks for any help...
