Okay, so I just installed my new ND1100A burner. It seemed to work fine for ripping and watching a dvd, but when I put a blank DVD+R disc in all of the sudden Windows XP Home thinks it's just a CD Drive. When I take the blank media out of the drive Windows once again recognizes it as a DVD+R burner. I've tried 2 different types of media and they both act the same. Anyone else had this problem?
Thanks

Not me - mine is fine.
SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

Okay, I have no clue what I've done, but now it's working. Windows still says CD Drive when there is blank media in the drive, but it works.
I better quit while I'm ahead and just burn some DVD's.
thanks
