  1. Okay, so I just installed my new ND1100A burner. It seemed to work fine for ripping and watching a dvd, but when I put a blank DVD+R disc in all of the sudden Windows XP Home thinks it's just a CD Drive. When I take the blank media out of the drive Windows once again recognizes it as a DVD+R burner. I've tried 2 different types of media and they both act the same. Anyone else had this problem?
    Thanks

  2. Oh, I've tried burning with CopyToDVD. It just gets hung on checking media.

  4. Okay, I have no clue what I've done, but now it's working. Windows still says CD Drive when there is blank media in the drive, but it works.
I better quit while I'm ahead and just burn some DVD's.
    thanks
