  1. i have a movie in MPEG1 file (VCD).
    i tried to find any guide to add SSA subtitle
    to them but i can't ...please help
    which software i could use ?

    i've tried to use Virtualdub with subtitler filter
    and save them to AVI file no compression...
    but it take lot of gig... and i have to encode back
    to mpeg ?!? or i should use compression ? which one ? will
    it decrease quality of poor mpeg1 ?
    many confusion ...

  2. Well, if you use tmpgenc to make your vcd's, that is the way:

    Open virtualdub, open your video file, and open your subtile file, in the filter menu, you know how because you say it.

    Instead save your avi file, go to file menu, and click on FRAMEserver option.

    A window is showed, click ok, other window is showed, put a name for vdr file and start frameserver.

    then open tmpgenc and instead open you avi file, open the vdr file and make th vcd normally.
