  1. I tried to export a movie I made with imovie 3 that was about 35 minutes into a DV stream file so I could import it into iDVD and burn it. Anyway, there is a problem in iMovie with exporting movies longer than 20 minutes. The audio gets out of sync with video. I have read some solutions online, but none of them seem to work. If anyone has encountered and fixed this problem, could you please post here how to export to iDVD without the sync issues. Thank you.

Try locking the audio. (Simple, but it might do it)

  3. That did not work. Locking still created a sync problem.

  4. Go to Apple's support forums. The ones for iMovie and iDVD have lots of info on sync problems and workarounds.

Other great site (I beleive this guy is the informal mod on Apple Discussion site) is http://www.danslagle.com/mac/iMovie/iMovieTipsandTricks.html

Until Apple fixes some major bugs in iMovie there are some who are downgrading to iMovie 2.
