Just downloaded a film, perfect sound when on PC but when trying to convert using TMPGencwill not come up with sound. Box says not found or unsupported. Have nimmo codecs installed and DivX codecs.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You might have MP3 or AC3 sound. You need to separate the sound by saving the uncompressed wave using Vdub to save it out. If its AC3 the process is slightly different. U need to save out toe sound as xxx.ac3 from Vdub. This will save it with a wav extension.
Go into explorer and delete the wav extension which will leave the file as xxx.ac3. Load this into headac3e and run the proggy. This will save out sound in correct format.
Load your avi into tmpgenc but use this new file as your audio. Away you go. Hopefully this will cure your problem
