I am having problems trying to capture using VirtualDub at > 320x240 resolutions. It seems to work with iuVCR. If I set it up for 480x480 on iuVCR, I do not get an error and other programs read the file settings as 480x480 after the fact. Is there a setting of some type to allow higher resolutions?

Hey . . .
What sort of capture card do you have? (you're a bit light-on for detail with your computer specs.). If you have a card based on the BT8x8 chipset, then try some updated drivers from btwincap.sourceforge.net.
Also have a look at Virtual VCR, from www.digtv.ws. This, in combination with the WDM drivers from sourceforge, let me capture at 480x576 (PAL SVCD format) with no problems at all.
Cheers,

I have a Pinnacle card (PCTV I think). It was private labeled by I/O Magic. After more digging, it looks like it is an issue with WDM drivers and VirtualDub. I think I need the WDM wrapper for VirtualDub. Have not done it so I'm not sure yet.
