  1. I am having problems trying to capture using VirtualDub at > 320x240 resolutions. It seems to work with iuVCR. If I set it up for 480x480 on iuVCR, I do not get an error and other programs read the file settings as 480x480 after the fact. Is there a setting of some type to allow higher resolutions?

    Hey . . .

What sort of capture card do you have? (you're a bit light-on for detail with your computer specs.). If you have a card based on the BT8x8 chipset, then try some updated drivers from btwincap.sourceforge.net.

Also have a look at Virtual VCR, from www.digtv.ws. This, in combination with the WDM drivers from sourceforge, let me capture at 480x576 (PAL SVCD format) with no problems at all.

    Cheers,

    B.

  3. I have a Pinnacle card (PCTV I think). It was private labeled by I/O Magic. After more digging, it looks like it is an issue with WDM drivers and VirtualDub. I think I need the WDM wrapper for VirtualDub. Have not done it so I'm not sure yet.
