You could compress the audio to AC3 as DVD supports AC3 audio.

  3. thats great i did that but now where do i put it? tmpgenc doesnt accept that file type? do i do it after tmpenc makes the m2v? and if i do will spruce up pick up the audio as ac3?

You don't need to load it into TMPGEnc. What you need to make certain now is that when you encode that you give it enough space for just the audio (much smaller in ac3 than in WAV format).

Once the encode is done (I usually use elemental stream Video only) as what time I am encoding to, Spruce Up! should have no issues loading the ac3 and the m2v file as LONG as they are the same name and in the same folder.
    ex:
    movie01.m2v
    movie01.ac3
