    Hi,

I have some old VHS tapes that I intend to make DVD (half D1)... but I dont have a DVD burner.

So I would like your help: I can capture in VirtualDub, 352x480, PicVideo 2 codec (18 quality mode, 2 fields if more than 240 lines enabled) to create a half D1 movie (I know I will have also to change 44Hz audio into 48Hz, maybe in TMPGEnc or SVCD2DVDMPG software)...

Is that possible to burn (in Ulead DVDMovieFactory or Nero, Easy CD&DVD 6 Platinum) such file in a 700 MB CDR?

    Thanks in advance.

if you're going to cd, i'd say vcd. dvd will give you a minidvd. but most dvd players won't play it.
