  1. I have been ripping a lot of DVDs without any problem, but now I have a weird problem.

I have a DVD movie with 2 different languages (2 audio streams), and the DVD contains 2 episodes (2 titles). The first episode is fine after ripping. The second episode gives me the wrong language (wrong audio stream) during the ENCODING (not ripping).

Here is the details of what I have done for the second episode (I also use the same methods below for every DVD ripping):
    1. I used SmartRipper to rip the DVD into .vob file
    2. I used PowerDVD (and ATI capture card software) to open the .vob file, and it playbacks fine with the audio stream that I wanted (correct language).
    3. I used TMPGEnc Plus to encode the .vob file into VCD-formatted mpeg file.
    4. The resulted mpg file has the wrong language (wrong audio)!!!

    Please help
    Thanks,

Rip the audio to WAV with DVD2AVI? Then in TMPG just select the WAV as the audio source.

If your encodeing the vob file directly with Tmpeg it could be detecting the wrong stream. Try using stream rip and only select the audio stream you want.
