I've just started experimenting with SVCD, using DVD Decrypter/DVD2One to rip an episode of Angel from a 4-episode disc, then using DVD2SVCD package to do all the encoding, via TMPGenc, and burning via VCDEasy.
It works a treat - aspect ratio correct, lip sync correct, quality excellent. But when it reaches the end of the show it ends during or immediately prior to the closing titles. The last 30-40 seconds are being cut off.
Have checked the .mpg file on the PC and it's the same, so the problem is in the ripping/encoding - not the burning.
Has anyone experienced this - is it because I should really be using DVD2SVCD to do the ripping as well as encoding...? I will try this next, but just thought I'd ask in case it was a known issue.....
Can DVD2SVCD's ripping deal with individual episodes of a multi-episode disc such as these?
