When using the "basic engine" option with the latest version of Disco+ there is no output choice but the resulting "iso" files. I can mount them with Toast but they are not playable with Apple DVD player or burnable as a DVD using Toast. What do you do with these image files? Disk Copy doesn't mount them as a DVD image either.

Been there done that, they seemed surprised at my findings. Am I the only one who has tried this or the only one with these results? I just tried the whole procedure again with same outcome. Maybe there is no need to use the basic engine, I was just curious.

I also ran into that problem. I just don't use the basic engine. Maybe there will soon be an update to fix this problem.

Yep the basic engine does not work for me either, the resulting iso. images burn in toast but are unplayable in my DVD drive. The original Disco works just fine.

i don't know if you all realize this, be we hardly ever come here. In fact MichaelLAX emailed me to tell me to look for this thread.
If you are a registered d+ user, this is the *LAST* place you should be looking to get something fixed
As I am now aware of what is going on, wrt 1.03's basic engine option, look for a fix before the week is out.
