    while trying to convert friends.... this is what i got..

    Read error occured at 00402F 40 of module TMPGenc.exe with 20656850

    help!!!

    I believe it only happen with Friends...but this is the first conversion i attempted ever since my windows ME crashed......not sure..but I think i've had similar experience with all FRIENDS episodes....

    same error when trying to encode Apocalypsis Now Redux. Only happens if i use the source range feature

    if i encode the entire film, error donesnt appear but no sound is added to the MPEG

    could be cos the lenght of the AC3 file? (< 2Gb)

    i use win xp and cladXP to ripp the files

    Try to reinstall TMPGEnc. You can also try to rip the DVD with DVDdecrypter.
