No audio and Video plays like jerky

HI.

I have capture 2hrs Wedding VHS into avi and Frameserve to tmpgenc to create mpeg1 for VCD BURNING.

And i have created one more AVI file for titling and made the mpeg1.

The resoultion is 352 X 288.

Using Nero i burned the Files to the CD. When i play the cd in using my VCD portable player ( Panasonic )

1. The first avi ( titling ) is displaying the picture but there is no Audio.

2. when it comes to the Wedding part the video is jerky ( it skips, not the continues play ).

Where could be problem.

are you sure your player can play vcds? and are you sure it can play cd-r's??? i had the same problemwith an older dvd player, and i realized it didnt play cdr's.
