  1. I got a little shake in the svcd-film every second. I´m converting a divx 3 low-motion with ac3 audio to an svcd-film. Otherwise is the film god. I´ve tried to convert the divx3 to divx 4.12 first but it doesn´t help. Whath can be the problem?

The source is 23,976 fps and you are converting to ntsc film 23,976 fps(with pulldown if svcd) right? So you are not doing any framerate conversion.

  3. As Baldrick said you need to do above.. Some programs default to 29.97 fps which will cause stutter

  4. Yeah, the film is 23,976 fps and I try to convert it into a svcd PAL 25 fps. Is it possible to convert to a higher fps? With what program do I do that?

That is what is causing the stutter. Look around the site for framerate conversion guides or better still, leave it at 23.97 fps (with pulldown) and make an NTSC movie. There is a pretty good chance of your DVD player/TV being able to play it correctly.

  7. A movie I encoded also jumped when played on my DVD player. I'll follow this advice for next time!
One question: was the jumping kinda with the frame like going back a forth a bit while the audio was fine?

  8. The jumping was like a little shake after every 1 second and the audio was ok. God Luck!
