    The output movie file does not play i only get the mainmenu. I created everything in paint i made a 4 button *.bmp with the subtitle overlay and i assigned them. PLay movie i assigned to the chapter 1 and the chaper index to its correspondent chapters. When i compiled the movie it does not play in powerdvd its stay in the mainmune i have put an soundtrack into but that does not play. What did i do wrong?

    It sounds as if, IF you assigned and highlighted all of the overlay areas to create the links, you did not set up all the routing to the sub-menu's / clips in the Connections tab.

    To check it in Maestro before rendering it out, you can click on the icon up top which looks like a compass (arrows pointing in all 4 directions). This will let you test your routing, but will not preview play video clips, etc.
