  1. Is there any way to extract specific files from dvd vobs so that you can copy only one of the video files from the dvd as well as other video files either from your computer or other dvds? I placed a few svcd files on dvd and when it converted them to vob they were seperated by title but all connected within the vob files so that one vob file would have the end of one movie and teh begining of another. I want to be able to make another dvd with two svcd movies, one from one of my svcd-dvds and another either from my computer or another svcd-dvd. is there anyway to do this?

  2. You should be able to use a ripping program to get mpeg back from VOB (a legitimate use for such a program).

You van also use DVD2AVI then reencode but you'd loose quality

Vobedit will demultiplex any vob file into it's individual cells. Check the cells it creates for the one you want.
