  1. Hello,

    Ive got a movie file that says its an avi and plays fine using realplayer, however media player says its unsurported and NO program will open it let alone convert it!! I've heard it might be an asf file? how can i convert this to an avi or vcd?

  3. thanks, did that said it wasnt valid file type,

    it turns out its a asf file, so after searching the forums i loaded the file into vdub and went to save as avi hey presto nero will now convert file into vcd!

    BUT audio out of synch! used vdub to extract audio and used tmpgen with the extracted audio+converted asf file to convert to mpg! new file works perfect, nero converts to vcd, super job!
