  1. i used dvd2svcd before quite happy with the results .
    th last time i ripped my dvd to svcd it was in 3 cd . but now i want it in 1 or 2 cd
    how can do it

  2. You can rip a dvd movie in two svcds by decreasing the bitrate.
    In the bitrate tab, specify the bitrate according to the length of the movie.
    If you are using 700Mb cd-r, then change your setting from 740 to 800.
    So you can put it in two discs. For example i had a 2 hour long dvd movie that i ripped, with a btrate of 1650kbps and audio bitrate of 192kbps. Use Cinema craft encoder to get the best results. There is an option that lets you encode in multiple passes or one pass. I have been using one pass encoding and the quality is great!.

  3. I am going from memory here, but to do what you want, find out the length of the movie (I believe by going to the conversion tab (where you hit convert). Figure out how many minutes it is and take that number and look on the bitrate tab. Change the # of CD's on the line that has the time you calculated.
