  1. I use DVD Decrypter to rip my DVD's. Well the very first dvd that I ripped did well which was Juwanna Mann. It ripped the files into a folder of my choice. But now for some reason, i've been ripping other dvd's and when it's finished, all the files are in .rar format. For instance, I just ripped XXX and these are the file that are in the folder after I rip it:

    VTS_01_1 0KB
    XXX.MDS 5KB
    XXX.rar 7,885,120 KB

Those are the files that I got after I ripped it.
Ok, when I open up Instant copy or DVD2one, neither program can identify either of the above files. All of the movie files are in that .rar archive. What do I need to do from this point?

Can someone please help? I'm very new to this and I don't know what I am doing wrong.

    Thanks

it looks like you are ripping the DVD in iso mode or something.

In the mode menu select file, to rip in file mode.

Have to agree with BarryHL on this one.

Make sure you choose Mode --> File

This has worked for me everytime and output works fine with DVD2One and IC.

Let us know if this works for you.
    Use what works for you...

  4. it's not a RAR file... it's just that WinRAR can now open ISO files and I'm like 99.99% sure that you have "Hide Known extensions" check. That's why you see the ISO file with the WinRAR icon. Anyways... All you gotta do it's mount that ISO with Daemon Tools and then load IC and rip. If you can't see the DVD-ROM after mounting it with D-Tools -- reboot, that should help.
