  1. Hi,

I'm trying to author a bunch of VCDs onto a DVDr, but running into problems, hopefully someone on here could spare me some help. The problem is that my VCDs are FILM, 24fps, and DVDs don't take in MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 at 24fps. I know that I can do pulldown, but isn't it only supported in MPEG-2? Anyways, I did try to do the pulldown on the MPEG-1 file, but when I merged the .mp2 and the video file, the audio is out of sync(this is after I've converted the audio to 48K and the pulldown on the video). Could someone please show me how to do this right? Another thing is how do I put two different audio sources into the MPEG-1 file? For example, the left channel is in English while the right channel is in Spanish. Thanks!!

You must convert to ntsc 29,976 or pal 25 fps or to ntsc 24 fps mpeg2 with pulldown. You can't use pulldown on mpeg1.

  3. I would lose quality by converting it to MPEG-2 right? Is there any way that I can do it without losing quality?

Also, how do I add another audio to the MPEG-1 file? I mean, I want to have two different audio tracks on the Left and Right channel. Thanks.
