Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone here has faced the following problem:
I am trying to capture some video from my VCR using my Leadtek Winfast MyVIVO GF4 4200 card. The picture looks fine during preview and while recording. The problem is when I stop recording and play it back in the PC, there is a huge white horizontal band in the middle of the picture blocking most of it. See the picture below. I can only see the top and bottom part. I dont know what the issue could be.
Could this be a problem with the video card?. I have tried different capture formats (MPEG-1,2, windows video, AVI, etc.. same problem). I tried the drivers that came with the card as well as new drivers from Leadtek.
I hope somebody can help me with this....
Thanks

This is Macrovision stopping you from capturing a DVD or VHS. You have to download an earlier driver, v1.08.
Click:
ftp://download1.nvidia.com/Windows/23.11/WDM_1.08.exe
I have the same capture card and the white bar is now gone. You must remove the existing drivers first before installing this version above, v1.08. -
