Ok, I'd like to know what I need to do to fix the headers or whatever in VOB files. I noticed that when I play a DVD in PowerDVD I can use the nav slider, but when I rip it using DVD Decryptor in IFO mode the nav slider in PowerDVD won't work when viewing the VOB. It plays fine, but the bloody slider won't work. How do I fix this without wasting hours re-encoding?

you should get ifoedit and load your ifo file into it and it will make new ifo and bup files. but then again i don't need to do that to play them i just click on one of the vob files and the movie starts up in powerdvd like i was reading from a dvd in my dvd rom.

If you just want to rip DVDs your HD and then play them (no editing, encoding, etc). I would rip the DVD in DVD Decrypter to an ISO Image file, install DAEMON tools, and mount the ISO image file (this creates a new drive letter). The ISO file then acts like it's own DVD-ROM drive/disc.
Nice for putting movies on laptops for trips (running from HD instead of DVD-ROM saves battery life).
