I have always had problems with trying to load a windvr captured file when it has been split. This is generally the second file and not the first. I have tried to De-Multiplex / Multiplex this file with TMPGEnc but it seems to only find the audio in the file even though it can be played through WinDVR and PowerDVD.

I have both and or one of the MPEG2 codecs installed, these are either Ligos or Cyberlink. I really could do with joining these two files and I have always wondered why WinDVR splits them in the first place.

    Can anyone please help

I am unsure if this helps in curing the problem I have but when I play the mpeg files (created by WinDVR 352x576) in Windows Media player 6 or 7.1 they play upside down also on installing an MPEG2 codec the second split file will now only play its audio. Something is not right here.

I have tried this file with vcdgear and it reports that there is an invalid packet size. Is there any way of fixing this and vcdgear tries to but I still only get the audio when I play it back in windows media player

    HELP!
