  1. i converted an xvid to dvd

    got an m2v and an mp2 file imported to dvd maestro and create a dvd folder for both parts of the xvid once done rename the vobs and moved them into another folder then used ifoedit to create new ifo and bup files

    but when i play the dvd on my panasonic stand alone pal player i get the movie but in black and white is the a way of tricking the dvd to play in colour

  2. It looks to me that you created an NTSC DVD and your TV can't handle it. Take a good browse through your panasonics setup menu's. My Panasonic allows NTSC disks to play as either NTSC or PAL-60, if you change from one to the other it might work.

  4. In that case you have two choices that I can see. Learn how to do NTSC to PAL conversion (there are several guides on this site) or get a new TV.

    I assume it plays in colour on your PC??
