ATI Capture problem

Hi all
I have a 3D Prophet All in wonder 8500DV ATI Radon 5800 card that works perfectly in digital or analog mode, but soem analog VHS tapes will not record ...... it will do one of two things eather say its recoeding fine and when you go to watch it you get the first few frames and sound or the picture fluxes making it unviewable. I think the VHS tapes may have a copy protection sys on them like microvison, is there anything i can do to stop this and allow me to copy these tapes ????? because i realy dont want to have to buy everything again on DVD ta in advance folks

Try some of the tools listed here: http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/macrovision_graphics.html . For my ATI AIW 7500 I found the DisableATIMacrovisionDetection.Zip posted by LalToo worked on my system.
