I am still struggling to figure out why all my caps are showing in authoring (all my Ulead and Cyberlink)programs to be too large(5.8Gigs) when I import them and attempt to author and burn them(even though they are actually only between 2.05Gigs to 4.15Gigs as shown in their properties).
This makes no sense to me, but I never had this problem with Directx 8.1 and my Nvidia card on my other computer.
Has anybody else had weird file size problems with ATI graphics cards and Directx9 in authoring programs?
(My particular card is a 32mb RAGE 128 Pro Ultra...I wouldn't have chosen it, but it can in the computer)
this is SO weird....does Anybody have a clue of what is happening here?
I Really could use your help, if you have Any idea, please?

"Signature"......
I use a Dazzle capturing system that Only lets me capture into Mpeg. So that is all I work with. I never do any DV/AVI video..... -
I'm not familiar with those Authoring apps I use Maesto, Spruce up, or DVD Workshop. But you may check and see if its converting the audio to PCM which will do that. I had that problem with DVDit when I tried it when I first got my burner.
