Hi,
I've been given a VCD with all of the DAT files in the root directory and the following directory structure. The VCD "interactive" title menu appears in PowerDVD on the PC, but the VCD does not play other than that (the DAT files themselves play perfectly in Media Player), but nothing at all happens on my standalaone (Yamaha) DVD player, other than that the disc is recognised (briefly) as a VCD at spinup.

I'm guessing I get no joy because the files are not in an MPEGAV folder. Is there a way that I can extract/reburn the VCD to put the files in the "correct" folder and still allow the interactive menu to work properly?
I do have MyFlix which allows DAT files to be returned to MPG format, but I'm concerned that this conversion (and the subsequent reburn to VCD format) will lead to quality loss.
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.
Steven
