  1. To keep the aspect ratio of a Xvid file when encoding to mpeg I tried to frameserve from Vdub with the resize filter twice

First the encoding finished suddenly making a mpeg file of 278 Mb (776 was the original avi)
Second was faster than first but from the middle of the file it had no sound (that's why it was faster I Think

As I can't frameserve (Any help please?) i want to resize first and then encode this avi but I don't know how much compress the avi to make it fastest

1.-No sound ( as I extracted the wav yet)
    2.-Resize filter
    3.-Save avi
    4.-Compression ¿?¿?¿? (Xvid, div 5.03, div 3.11 ????)
