    Hi there,
I need help with underflows on 101 Dalmations 2. I am fairly new to ripping (although I have done about 30 sucessfully ...have to make copies because my 3 year old keeps getting bad fingerprint marks on the DVD's and ruining them. ). Anyway...The sound keeps stopping every 3 sec. or so . Here is what I use and what I have tried so far.

    1) rip DVD through Smart Ripper
    2) encode through DVDx 1.6
    3) Burn through VCD Easy

The ripping seems fine, ecept under AV delay: is says -34. (however I have seen that before and there is no problems with the ending VCD)

When I am encoding with DVDx. I have the the framerate at 29.9 (and have changed it to 25.0 and 23.97 with no change in results). I have changed the Muxrate to 0 and up to 3 (normal default is 1.4%). I have clicked on and off the Video/Audio sync, and no changes. The Video Bit rate is at 1150 and the Audio Bitrate is at 224. I have also tried to do a simple demultiplex in TMPGe and then remultiplex through BBMPG, and that makes no difference either. Does anyone have any suggestions. I don't know what else to try.
Thank you in advance for your help

    Hi there,
Found my own solution with lots of research. Hopefully this will help someone else. , I just had sucess in getting the sound to be constant and good. Still rip with Smart Ripper. Then go to http://www.dvdripguides.com/dvdmenu.php and follow the instructions 2 & 3 on the "How to Rip a DVD to MPEG1/VCD (UPDATED!)". (It will take DVD2AVI + VFP Plugin and TMPGEncto be downloaded, but they are free and they have links to go to do download them) Then burn it with whatever software you have (I like VCD Easy).
    Good luck to you.
