  1. when i use virtualdub and scan for video stream errors and find them how do i then fix them?

    First set in video and audio tab to "direct stream copy" and then scan video for error which will look like this if it has any:


    Then save it as a new AVI


    But if you get this warning in Virtual Dub:


    You need to change the audio to "full processing mode" and then do the scanning and save as a new AVI.

  3. so after it detects bad frames then go to file-save as avi and that will fix it?

  4. when i do get video dtream errors would that cause audio sync errors when i split the file? how do i fix this?

    I donīt really know what you mean by this,first do the scanning thing with direct stream copy which you find on my first reply,
    then save it as a new AVI and you will have a good version and then if you wanna cut it later,do as normal.
