I was wondering if there was anyone out there that could have a solution for my freezing problems. Here is my process:

    1. Rip main movie with Decrypter
    2. Compress video with DVD2One (if needed)
    3. Create image of VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders with ImgTools.
    4. Burn with Decrypter at 1X speed

I've used RecordNowMax to burn as well as BUT the freezing is worse. I've been using both Princo (-R) and Ritek 1X media. My burner is a Toshiba SD5002 (2X).

The movies I burn do not freeze completely, just a bit, then they keep on playing. They freeze throughout the entire movie (really annoying). I've tried them in two different DVD standalones with the same results. I have a Toshiba SD-3750 and a Broksonic DVCR810 DVD Combo standalone. The freezes don’t come at chapter changes, they are just random. Could it be my process or the media? Help would greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  2. I have noticed the same thing. Using Both nero and gear pro to burn Video_ts folders made with DVD I have noticed this @chapter points and at other random places.

It seems to be worse when the disk is hot (my imaginatio?) dunno.

What we have in common is that i also use princos and i have a Toshiba SD-3750. I'll have to go find some other Players to test on.

I had one disk that was so stuttering on chapter 4 start that i burned it agin same result! Well i waited a few hours and both thos disks play the chapter four start with no glitches. (must have been heat related)

I have other disks that are days old and do it randomly.
