I have just tried the above discs and I'm having a little trouble. After sucessfully using Verbatim and Maxell DVD+R's I decided to try the Ritek. I have the Phillips DVDRW228 burner with bundled nero. The Ritek play back just fine in all PC's I have tried, but on my settop RCA they begin to freeze and pixelate near the end of the movies. I checked the Ritek site and saw this:
Recording Speed: 1X ~ 2.4X (for Data) 1X (for video)
I can only burn at 2.4x. Do you think this is my problem? Should I test them on other settop players? I've read good things about Ritek -R, but what have you experienced with the +R's?
Thanks.
