I receive a streaming video webcast hosted on a network. I use VBRICK Streamplayer II to view and record the files. However, I would like to edit the videos or convert them to a format where I can edit and compress them. However, none of the video editing software I've used recognizes the files or has errors opening them. Ive tried TMPEG and Virtual Dub (with the MPEG2 mod), as well as many others. Adobe Premiere will read the files, and they work fine in the preview screen, but when I move them to the timeline to cut them, the video gets stuttery. I can play the video files just fine, but theyre way too big and contain commercials I would like to edit out. Any ideas?
