Hi
Canīt any one help me, VLC, Mplayer and Quictime wonīt play my svcd disc. I have the quicktme mpeg 2 extension.
If I trie to play it on VLC from my superdrive i just get errors. Nothing appens on mplayer. From my external cd-burner "firewire, VLC oppes the movie and I just got a black screen but I looks like it plays because of the time indicator changing. mplayer plays it very bad for about 3 sec. then it freez.
But It plays VOB files just perfect
VLC 0.5.0
mPlayer 1.1
OSX 2.4
Have FFmpegX install 0.0.6g and it works too?
Please help me

I may be wrong, but I think VLC looks for video files to be in the MPEG2 foldero n SVCDs. If you authored your disc so that the video files appear in the MPEGAV folder, VLC may not want to decode them because it expects MPEG1 video to be in MPEGAV folders. Just a guess.
