    I hope not, I'm getting one by the end of the week.

    My old JVC XV-523 worked just fine, but couldn't read DVD-R/RW's.

    My loss is my nephew's gain.

    Great machine for te price. Got one for my father in law for xmas. It doesn't have progressive scan, but that's the only issue I'd have against getting it for myself. As it is I got the Sony changer - the 655.
