i have many VCR and CAM movies that i want to transfert in SVCD, so then i can whatch those movies on my home DVD player. i want the best image quality and the best sound as possible. i've tryied but i got some out of sync audio and video... (this is personal vdo like birthday partys...)

 Capturing card : haupage WINTV go
 capturing software : adobe premiere 6
 DVD player : JVC (svcd/cdr/vcd/dvd..)

i'm not asking this because i dont want to look around and try to find it on my own. ... in fact, i did all that i can... i search over the net and everything... and never got enough knowledge to complete my task.

now i.'m ready to open a session with XP or pc anywhere so then you will be able to show me the right way. i have icq / Msn / and telephone.

    Steph,

Don't really use Premier for capture. Also, the Hauppauge cards are not famous for good drivers. Get the latest drivers from their site and install them first.

I would recommend VirtualDUB for capturing. It's because it is a flexible tool, can do all sorts of things and learning it well will get you productive.

Short of writing a guide here, I recommend you read the posts and guides about VirtualDUB and capture in the forums. Lot's of instructions are around.

Try that and if you are stuck, come back to the post.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
