    occasionally, when I try to rip files using dvd-decryptor I get one of a variety of strange errors. When I put the disc in my slower DVD burner, it works fine. Any idea why a 16X rom drive has trouble with some DVD's?

    Wouldn't happent to be a Lite-On drive would it?

    There is a known issue with DVD Decrypter and Lite-On Drives.

    mine is a Cendyne, I believe.
