TV out color problems

Hi everybody,
I'm having a problem with my tv out.
When I connect my PC to my TV, I don't get the right colors on my tv screen. I get a black and white picture, with colors flickering on some points in the screen (where there is black text, where i hold my mouse, etc...).
I have a ATI rage lt pro video card, I'm pretty sure I've got the decent drivers. Also, my tv works in the PAL format, so I've enabled PAL, that can't be the problem.
Anybody knows how to fix this? any help would be appreciated.

All I can say is make very sure that all of your connections are tight and secure. Also, you might try a different video cable, perhaps the cable has been damaged. And make sure your drivers are up to date, if they are, reinstall them. www.rage3d.com is a great site and has guides for troubleshooting ATi cards like yours, check their forums for instructions on cleanly uninstalling and reinstalling ATi drivers.
